That’s how our founding team came together. As early EV adopters, two of Rove’s founders had experienced first-hand just how unready the world was for electric vehicles.
What EV drivers need, they decided, is better and faster charging, with amenities that don’t leave them stranded in their car for hours. It was easy to find others who felt the same.
In 2021, they joined forces with Newlight, a private investment firm that made an initial investment in the project. With Newlight’s expertise in infrastructure and emerging technology — and the depth of knowledge in sustainable energy on the founding team — we are excited to introduce the world to a better EV charging experience.
