  • Are you passionate about innovation and customer service? Join Rove, a pioneering SoCal-based company at the forefront of the electric vehicle (EV) charging revolution! We have opened our first full-service EV charging center location in Santa Ana, CA. As a Charging Support teammate, you'll be an integral part of delivering the exceptional customer experience we're committed to providing. In this role, you'll assist customers with their EV charging inquiries, maintain a clean and welcoming center, and ensure the smooth operation of our state-of-the-art charging stations.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include regular attendance and the following:

    Customer Service
    1.  Provides a warm and friendly greeting to customers, maintaining a positive and welcoming atmosphere.

    2. Answer customer inquiries about EV charging and guide them through the features and benefits of Rove’s App to encourage sign-ups.

    3. Resolves customer concerns or complaints promptly and professionally, escalating issues to management when necessary.

    4. Treats all associates and customers with respect, fostering a positive and inclusive environment.

    5.  Works collaboratively with other Charging Support team members to maintain a positive and cohesive working environment.


    Queuing
    1.  Effectively manages multiple customers, ensuring a smooth flow of vehicles through the charging center.

    2.  Manages queues for chargers and car wash, ensuring efficient operations.


    Facilities upkeep
    1.  Cleans and stocks charging center with operating supplies.

    2.  Performs routine inspections of the charging stations to ensure proper functionality and cleanliness.

    General Tasks
    1.  Assumes responsibility for assigned tasks and work assignments.

    2. Contributes to achieving sales goals by promoting car wash and Recharge Market goods.

    3.  Contributes to the organization’s shared understanding of what good looks like across multiple dimensions of quality.   

    4. Participates in supporting various company initiatives and projects as requested.

    5.  Adheres to all company policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with established guidelines.

    Experience & Skills:
    -  Positive and customer-focused attitude.
    - Basic knowledge of electric vehicles and charging technology (training provided).
    -  Fluent in English (additional languages a plus).
    - Ability to effectively communicate with diverse customer demographics.
    - Ability to read and interpret instructional documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.


    Physical Requirements
    While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to:
    - Prolonged periods of sitting, standing, walking, talking, grabbing, and reaching.
    - Lift up to 50 lbs from ground level to above shoulders multiple times daily.
    - Ascend and descend stairs, step stools, and ladders.
    - Work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
